Galets is a set of five editions created for Maria Giovanni’s exhibition Dérive Littorale. Each edition brings together short, metaphorical texts written by art historian Salomé Schlappi, reflecting on the condition of the pebble.
The texts are paired with images generated through artificial intelligence, extending the writing into a visual drift between mineral matter and abstraction. Together, the five editions form a fragmented yet cohesive body of work, where text and image resonate as autonomous objects.
